This is the pinnacle event in Cincinnati Squash, as the top 29 Singles players from Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Louisville and the top 5 Hardball Doubles Teams face off in a weekend of Squash and sportsmanship.  To qualify for this team is an honor, to own a badge is a mark of pride and skill, and this year heralds the longest lasting event of its type in Squash in the USA.  Set your calendars for Cincinnati as the host of this event, 2/24-26, and prepare your game as you endeavor to make the team!

The annual Collopy Cup pits 19 players from Cincinnati against Dayton, and this year the event was held at the Dayton Squash Center. Although Dayton assembled a strong team, the Cincinnati players were too strong and won 12-7!

Many thanks to all who played and won, and for cheering on and witnessing the great Squash action and competition! Following the contest, CCC Pro Jamie Crombie battled a PSA touring professional training at the Dayton Squash Center for some high-level action and inspiration. Although the PSA player won, it should be noted that he was less than half the age of the 46 year old Crombie!

Thanks again to the Dayton players and to Charlie Johnson for the fantastic lunch and hospitality, let's keep the mojo working for the Hahn Cup in February!

This event has now moved to be a November event, to coincide with the EBS Pro Tournament held at the Dayton Squash Center.  Inspired by the fabulous Pro matches, the singles Squash was spirited and superb.  Results have not been posted as of this date.

The Cincinnati Cup started in 2010 as a one day, one match event pitting 13 Singles players from the CCC against the University Club. Last year, the U Club won 7-6 and by one game in a tight 5-gamer. This year, the challenge was raised higher with the introduction of 5 Hardball Doubles teams as well as 14 Singles players. The event was held on October 8th. When the dust, sweat and tears settled, CCC had won 10 of 14 Singles matches and all of the Doubles matches. CCC Coach Tom Klinedinst was humble in his victory, and U Club Rob Rubin was contrite in his defeat. The dinner that followed at the CCC was well attended and added a new luster to the event as this becomes better with each year! The Cincinnati Cup trophy is on display, on a lofty perch, in the CCC Squash Office.

The CCC Annual Triple Knockout (XXX) Tournament is hailed as the unofficial Cincinnati Squash season opener, and was held at the Cincinnati Country Club in October. This event brings all levels of Squash players together, as each player is guaranteed at least 3 matches in an elmination style format. The winner of this year was last year's winner, Dr. Salman Ahmad! Great job, Salman! Many thanks to Jamie Crombie, the CCC Pro, for organizing this event!
